MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have been blasted for giving their new daughter the “impolite” and “demeaning” title Lilibet.
Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, who shares Her Majesty’s household nickname, arrived at 11.40am on Friday in California.
Royal biographer Angela Levin was among the many first to slam Harry and Meghan’s sentimental transfer, telling Good Morning Britain “I don’t assume it’s a good suggestion – I feel it’s fairly impolite to Her Majesty Her Queen”.
“It was a really personal nickname from her husband who hasn’t been useless for very lengthy… Prince Charles would by no means dream of calling his mom Lilibet,” she added.
